Agood illustration, created with imagination and planning, can get your message across as well as any editorial photo. I’ve tried to use both studio and digital situations to bring my creativity to bear to make images that would otherwise not be able to work. There’s also a lot to be said for the sense of control the studio or digital offers to allow an artist to create without having to worry about the vagaries of the real world. Anything is possible.
