Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park in Maine have been one of my favorite places ever since I moved to the Northeast in 1992. Despite its status as one of the most visited national parks, Acadia offers so many places to find solitude, beauty, and time for reflection. I never get tired of its unique combination of forest, mountains, seashore and culture. In any season, its colors and textures offer a feast for any photographer.
