2014 TOUR OF THE BATTENKILL
This year’s 10th anniversary running of the largest cycling race in America – the Tour of the Battenkill – served up wide contrasts in weather and road conditions between the two days of races. Saturday started cold, and got colder in the afternoon, with blustery 20+ mph winds that made the day longer for exhausted racers. Sunday dawned cold but clear and sunny, and provided some welcome relief. Both days were a challenge and a pleasure to photograph, with the varying light between the fast-moving clouds making for some beautiful scenery.
